The Coach’s Round Table

Are you tired of seeing Christian leader’s views and opinions censored?  I am!  One of the more disappointing things I have seen in 2020 is how poorly Evangelical leaders have responded to the crisis that we are facing.  What is even more disheartening is the mild censorship that many have used to stifle any alternative view or debate around the accepted narrative.

Are you fearful to post or comment on social media sites?  I have typically avoided saying anything as I don’t want the deluge of shame, recrimination, and hatred spewed out by my supposed brothers and sister in Christ! 

Are you sick and tired of the cancel culture that has now infiltrated the Church?  I get that a lost world will want to cancel us if our views run counter to the acceptable narrative.  What shocks and dismays me is when this happens among Christians. 

Do you ever wish you had a place to post your thoughts?  I am always looking for a place to plant the message I believe God has given me.  Sadly, there are few places that we can go to have a platform for our voice.  I want to change this!  For all of the above and more, I am announcing with this post the start of The Coach’s Round Table.

If King Arthur can have a Round Table of knights, why can’t I?  One of my passions is to help the younger generation of thought leaders with a platform for their voices.  There are so many good thinkers coming up, and sometimes with all the noise going on, it is hard to know who to listen to.  I wanted to establish a platform for the voices that are sometimes ignored. 

My goal here is simple.  To provide thought leaders a forum to share their ideas.  It is also my goal to introduce you, my followers, to these thought leaders.  The ultimate goal is to start a conversation around the various topics posted here.

What topics will we cover?  Pretty much anything and everything related to the Church.  From race relations to alternative views on the COVID19 pandemic to a multitude of other topics, I am open to your thoughts and ideas.  I will say that since I write extensively on stewardship issues that the Coach’s Round Table will focus on other aspects of Church life.

When and where?  I am in the process of redesigning my main website so that there will be a separate landing page for the Coach’s Round Table.  We expect the rebuild to be finished in a few days.  You can email me if you want to know when we officially launch the Coach’s Round Table.  Right now, I plan to post something new and original from someone other than myself every Wednesday.
